Personalized Support, Proven Results: How Email Strategy Became the Secret Weapon

🧠 Overview:

Email marketing became a cornerstone of femSense’s U.S. growth strategy — and Maven Creative Company was at the helm. As part of our broader ecommerce plan, we set a benchmark goal: 20% of total sales should come from our growing newsletter list. But we didn’t just want to sell — we wanted to build real relationships.

🎯 Creative Concept:

Given femSense’s deeply personal use case — helping women conceive — we designed email nurturing campaigns tailored to every stage of the customer journey. Using data and empathy, we crafted distinct customer avatars that reflected where women were in their fertility journey.

Our strategy prioritized timing as much as messaging. Those actively trying to get pregnant received more frequent, supportive emails with timely information and encouragement. Meanwhile, those in earlier stages received a slower cadence of nurturing content designed to build trust and provide education at a gentler pace.

Instead of hard-selling, we focused on being a trusted guide — offering helpful resources, fertility education, and emotional support — all while subtly reinforcing the value of femSense as a natural, hormone-free solution.

  • Achieved and maintained 20% of total sales from email subscribers
  • Built deep trust with the audience through helpful, non-transactional content
  • Maintained consistent conversion from subscribers active for 30+ days during Q1 2024

 

🧩 Why It Matters:

At a time when fertility can feel overwhelming and isolating, femSense stood out by making women feel seen and supported. By tailoring our email cadence to each user’s stage in the journey, we didn’t just boost conversions — we created a sense of care and personal connection.

This approach transformed femSense from a product into a partner. Women didn’t feel like they were just receiving emails — they felt understood. And that emotional resonance made all the difference, helping us meet our sales benchmarks while building lasting trust with our audience.
